KRAFTON is excited to partner with PlayVS to launch the PUBG College Royale (PCR). This collaboration marks the first official PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS competition specifically designed for college students across the United States and Canada, integrating the title into the PlayVS College League (PCL) ecosystem.

The PUBG College Royale is scheduled to begin on March 15. The tournament structure allows students to compete in up to three open qualifiers to secure a position in the final event. These finalists will face off on April 12 in a culminating championship that will be broadcast live on the official PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Twitch channel.

"The PUBG College Royale opens the door for student players to compete in an organized, competitive environment while exploring a potential first step on their path to the professional stage." said Atila Yesildag, Director of West Esports at KRAFTON. "We're excited to expand our competitive ecosystem and empower aspiring players to turn their passion into opportunity."

Participants will compete for a total of $15,000 in scholarship awards. Beyond the primary prize pool, KRAFTON and PlayVS have introduced participation incentives to encourage engagement across all skill levels, including opportunities to win ASUS peripherals and Amazon gift cards. Additionally, the program features a weekly highlight initiative where students can submit gameplay clips for a chance to be featured in official circuit content.
