2026 Regional Competitive Refresh
2026-02-19

Competitive PUBG play is returning to a region near you in 2026!

2026 will be a landmark year for competitive PUBG, with our biggest regional competitive format update yet.

So whether you’re gearing up to try out competitive play with your squad, or you just want all the dates for our upcoming broadcasts - keep reading below as we’ll be taking an in-depth look at everything that’s changing for regional competitive play for the Americas and EMEA regions in 2026!

This year, we’re focusing on making it easier than ever for PUBG players of all levels to take their first steps into organized play. This goes even further than a perspective change to TPP; we’re redesigning our regional leagues and tournaments to be as accessible to players of all types, while still providing a performance-based path to the global stage for our strongest regional teams.

PUBG Esports will return to EMEA and Americas with a new hybrid model which combines the best parts of last year’s tournaments into an extended season of competitive play.

The expanded regional schedule for 2026 doesn’t just mean more match days - it means more PUBG content than ever before! Every PEC & PAS tournament will be fully broadcasted from start to finish, with the exception of the first two days of Scrims each week. That’s more G-Coin giveaways, more pro tips you can yoink for your own matches and more “only in PUBG” moments!

Both the PUBG EMEA Championship (PEC) and the PUBG Americas Series (PAS) will be split into three main stages:

  • Scrims and Cups

    • Scrims are the starting point for everyone; perform well and cement your status in Cups and you will qualify to the PEC and PAS Playoffs!

  • Playoffs

    • Our qualified teams from the Scrims and Cups will meet fierce resistance as they’re thrown into a pool that includes some of the best invited teams in the region. Teams have a new chance to qualify each day, but only the best will make it to the Finals!

  • Finals

    • Our classic 3-day format will pit the very best teams in the region against each other. Every placement point and kill point counts!

Signing up for Scrims is a great way to start your competitive journey and start playing PUBG in a more structured, competitive way. Come along each Monday to play five matches against other organized teams - prove yourself in Scrims, and you may just get a seat at a table with some of the region’s best teams!
