The PUBG Global Championship 2023(PGC 2023) is set to unfold in Bangkok, Thailand, running from November 18th to December 3rd!
With our exclusive "PGC 2023 APPROACHES" series, we're granting a behind-the-scenes look into the mindset and perspectives of players (and coaches) as they gear up for the PGC 2023, the pinnacle of PUBG Esports competition.
Without further ado, let’s unveil our first spotlighted player in "PGC 2023 APPROACHES"
Hello, I am seoul of the Danawa-esports team.
Q. How is your team preparing for PGC 2023?
A. We, Danawa Esports has gone through a strategic transformation in the IGL(InGame Leader) position since the recen PNC tournament. The baton has transitioned from me to Inonix. While at PNC 2023, Inonix led during the initial and middle phases and I took charge during the later part of the stage. For upcoming PGC 2023, Inonix will consistently helm the IGL role.
This decision was made from our conviction that evolving roles and strategies will drive Danawa Esports to even greater heights. We're focusing on perfecting the finer details within our consistent framework. Our objective revolves around strengthening our foundational skills such as game flow analysis, effective communication, and role distribution, enhancing the overall game quality rather than relying on specific strategies.
Q. What are your expectations for the tournament?
A. Each player brings a unique style to the team, influencing our overall gameplay. We're expecting a notable shift in our team's play style for this tournament. We’ve been using the recent PWS as a platform for experimentation and learning, identifying areas that need refinement. I’m confident that with these improvements, we will be strong contenders for the championship.
Q. What should viewers look out for in this tournament?
A. I urge fans to spotlight the upgraded overall game-management skills of Danawa-esports and our skills around the Taego & Vikendi maps.
