The PGS 2 EMEA Qualifiers are right around the corner! With PGS Qualification and a boatload of PGC Points on the line, teams from EMEA will be giving their all - so keep reading below for a closer look at the storylines of some of the participating teams!

Twisted Minds
Following a dominant performance in EMEA’s latest PGC Point-awarding tournament - The Rotation - Twisted Minds are looking very strong right now. As a Global Partner Team, their position in PGS 2 is already secure, but they’ll still need to put on a serious performance to maintain (or possibly improve) their #4 spot on the PGC Point leaderboard with Acend and FaZe Clan hot on their heels. As a reminder - the top five teams on the PGC Points leaderboard will qualify to PGC 2023, along with the winner of PEC: Fall.
Natus Vincere
The reigning PGC 2022 World Champions have had a slow start to the year - as a result, the PGS 2 EMEA Qualifiers will be a crucial tournament for them. You can never count NAVI out - as one of EMEA’s most decorated squads, they’ve certainly proven their reputation as one of the strongest teams in the region, and PGC 2023 Qualification is definitely still within reach if they can secure top spots in the PGS 2 EMEA Qualifiers and PEC: Fall.
FaZe Clan
As with Twisted Minds & NAVI, FaZe Clan’s spot in PGS 2 is already secure. With strong performances in PEC: Spring and The Rotation landing them in the #6 spot on the PGC Points table, FaZe Clan’s PGC Qualification prospects are looking very strong - as long as they maintain their current momentum for the final two regional tournaments this year!
HOWL Esports
Without a doubt, 2023 has been HOWL Esports’ year so far. After winning PEC: Spring in a legendary final game (which will probably go down in PUBG history), they went from strength to strength with a very respectable performance against some of EMEA’s strongest teams in The Rotation. As a result, the team currently holds the top spot in terms of PGC Points for the EMEA region. As mentioned already though, there’s plenty of time for a shake-up between the PGS 2 EMEA Qualifiers and PEC: Fall (the latter of which has the most PGC points up for grabs of any tournament this year), so HOWL will need to keep up their winning pace!
ACEND
After a truly phenomenal performance earned them a second place finish in PGS 1, Acend will have their sights firmly set on qualifying to PGS 2. Acend are in the fairly unique position of having high positions on both the PGS and PGC Points tables. After PGS 2, the top four teams on the PGS Points table will automatically qualify to PGC. PGS Points are earned by placing well in the main PGS event, so if Acend can qualify to PGS again and put on a similarly strong performance to last time, there’s a good chance they might not even need to use their PGC Points to secure a spot in PGC 2023.
FUT Esports
FUT Esports are also in strong contention for PGC 2023 qualification, with two very strong performances in PEC: Spring and The Rotation landing them second place in the overall PGC Point standings. As you can see from FUT’s position and the top six teams overall, consistency has been the name of the game when it comes to securing PGC Points so far this year.
Exalt
Following their phenomenal third place finish at The Rotation, Exalt earned a performance invite to the PGS 2 EMEA Qualifiers. Exalt have had a record-breaking 2023 which has propelled their squad to new heights (namely, third place in the overall PGC Points standings), so we’ll be interested to see if they can maintain their momentum and make it to PGS and beyond.
