After an action-packed PUBG Global Series 1, we’re back to bring you some more exciting news. The PUBG Global Series 2 will be at the world’s largest gaming and esports festival, Gamers8 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from August 10th to 20th. The best teams from around the globe will battle it out in Erangel, Miramar, and Taego for the title of being the best in the world and a $2,000,000 prize pool.
How do you get your chance to compete and try to secure your spot? The PGS2 Americas Open Qualifiers will be held separately for each sub-region (NA & LATAM), each supporting up to 160 teams, and are spread over multiple rounds in which the top eight (8) teams of each lobby in each round will advance. On the completion of the Round of 16, the top eight (8) teams from each sub-region will advance to the PUBG Global Series 2 Americas Qualifiers, where they will be joined by sixteen (16) invited teams, based on their performance at PUBG Americas Series Phase 1.

Upon completion of Round 3, top 8 teams from each sub-region will move to the next stage. There, they will find themselves competing against 8 teams who have been invited based on their performance at PUBG Americas Series Phase 1. If, for any reason, an invited team does not meet eligibility, roster requirements, or any other rules set out in the Rulebook, that team will be replaced by the next best team from Round 3 that meets the requirements.
