After orchestrating a staggering comeback on the second day of the PGS 10 Finals, Virtus.pro have been crowned as the PGS 10 Champions!

After finishing the first day of the PGS 10 Finals in 10th place, you might have been forgiven for thinking that the momentum of Virtus.pro was beginning to falter.

But not so; over the course of the second (and last) day of the PGS 10 Finals, the squad of Lukarux, NIXZYEE, Beami and Curexi put on a masterpiece display of teamwork, coordination and just sheer calculated precision - earning 72 points in just five matches, winning two Chicken Dinners along the way.

Put simply, that’s an insanely strong performance, even for a team who just this summer became the Esports World Cup champions (right after winning PGS 3, and last year’s PGS 9).

It takes a world class pedigree to turn a tournament around to that extent, and placed in the context of Virtus.pro’s other successes on the world stage this year, a picture begins to form of a team who is unquestionably hitting their stride and should always be considered a competitor for the world title - perhaps at the PUBG Global Championship 2026, which the squad has already qualified for?

After a second place finish at PGC 2025, we’re sure they’re hungry and have set their eyes on the ultimate world title.

But before we get to PGC 2026, the big question in the near term is whether the team can maintain their strong momentum into the (shortly upcoming) last two PGS events of this circuit.

In PGS Circuit 3, the team had very strong 2nd place results in the first two tournaments, but slid in the rankings when it came the final tournament of that series - PGS 9.

If the squad can prove their consistency by topping the leaderboards throughout this circuit of PGS, they will look poised to take the crown at the end of the year in Turkiye.

To find out if Virtus.pro can defend their crown (and to find out who will join them on the PGC stage at the end of the year), be sure to tune in to PGS 11, starting this Thursday at 12pm CEST!
