
The opening chapter of the 2026 PUBG Global Series has come to a close. In PGS 1, 24 teams from around the world battled fiercely across Erangel, Miramar, Taego, and Rondo, securing the first set of Circuit 1 rankings. Based on these results, PGS 2 (Series 2) will kick off on March 26.
PGS 1 (Series 1), the first global event of the 2026 season, delivered intense competition from the Group Stage on Day 1 through to the Final Stage on Days 4–5. Under the new circuit structure, every match directly impacted the rankings, raising the stakes throughout the tournament.

Group Stage (Day 1):
17Gaming dominated the opening day with 80 points (35 placement + 45 kills). Four Angry Men (65 points) and Team Falcons (50 points) followed behind, while Crazy Raccoon and DN SOOPers each climbed five spots to secure 4th and 5th place. The bottom eight teams moved on to the Survival Stage.

Winners Stage (Day 2):
Petrichor Road surged to 1st place with 61 points, securing 10 advantage points. Four Angry Men maintained 2nd place with 49 points, while DN SOOPers and T1 tied at 44 points to place 3rd and 4th. Meanwhile, a major shake-up occurred as previous top performers 17Gaming (10th) and Team Falcons (16th) dropped to the Survival Stage.

Survival Stage (Day 3):
Team Falcons topped the Survival Stage with 60 points, successfully securing their return to the Final Stage. The Expendables delivered the biggest comeback of the tournament, climbing an impressive 11 spots to finish 2nd. Meanwhile, the bottom eight teams — 17Gaming, Gen.G Esports, Team Vitality, http://Virtus.pro , Team Liquid, Theerathon Five, Crazy Raccoon, and Change The Game — were eliminated from PGS 1.
In the Final Stage, 16 teams competed in a total of 10 matches over two days (March 21–22). The top 8 teams from the Winners Stage started with advantage points, and this early lead proved to be a decisive factor in the race for the top spots.

The PGS 1 Final Stage MVP award goes to SpaceMan1010 of Four Angry Men. With the MVP coming from the runners-up rather than the winning team, it speaks to just how dominant his individual performance was. SpaceMan1010 recorded a tournament-high 21 kills in the Final Stage, spearheading his team's firepower throughout. The MVP receives a personal prize of $10,000.

Petrichor Road and Four Angry Men both finished with 95 points, but Petrichor Road claimed the PGS 1 title through a tiebreaker. Made in Thailand secured 3rd place with the highest number of kills in the Final Stage (67 kills).

Petrichor Road’s 10 advantage points from finishing 1st in the Winners Stage ultimately proved to be the decisive factor in determining the final standings, highlighting the impact of the newly introduced advantage point system.
The combined PGS points from Series 1 and Series 2 will determine seeding for the Circuit Final (PGS 3). Here are the current standings following PGS 1.

Teams placed 17th–24th (17Gaming, Gen.G Esports, Team Vitality, Virtus.pro, Team Liquid, Theerathon Five, Crazy Raccoon, and Change The Game) do not receive any PGS points.

Petrichor Road — Starting from 9th place in the Group Stage, they went on to secure back-to-back 1st place finishes in both the Winners Stage and Final Stage to claim the PGS 1 title. Their upward momentum as the tournament progressed was particularly impressive, and they now set their sights on defending the crown in PGS 2.

Four Angry Men — Demonstrated remarkable consistency, never dropping below 2nd place after the Winners Stage. With the most kills in the Final Stage (57) and strong placement points (32), they finished tied for the lead with 95 points.

Made in Thailand — Showcased overwhelming firepower with the highest kill count in the Final Stage (67). If they can further improve their placement points, they will become a serious contender for the Circuit 1 title.

Team Falcons — After placing 3rd in the Group Stage, they dropped to 16th in the Winners Stage, only to mount a dramatic comeback by finishing 1st in the Survival Stage. Although they ended the Final Stage in 13th place, they proved they have the potential to bounce back in PGS 2.
Eliminated Teams (8) — This group includes 17Gaming, who topped the Group Stage, and Gen.G Esports, a powerhouse from the 2025 season. These teams will start from the Survival Stage in PGS 2, where their Circuit 1 survival will be decided in just a single day of competition.

PGS 2 (Series 2) is the second series of Circuit 1. Unlike Series 1, it will begin directly based on the results of PGS 1, without a Group Stage.
PGS 2 (Series 2): March 26 (Thu) – March 29 (Sun), 2026
Broadcast Start: 19:00 KST daily
Winners Stage (Day 1 — Thu, March 26)
The top 16 teams from PGS 1 will compete in 5 matches. The top 8 teams will earn advantage points and advance directly to the Final Stage, while the bottom 8 teams will move on to the Survival Stage.
Survival Stage (Day 2 — Fri, March 27)
A total of 16 teams — the bottom 8 teams from the Winners Stage and the 8 teams eliminated from PGS 1 — will compete in 5 matches. The top 8 teams will advance to the Final Stage, while the bottom 8 teams will be eliminated from Circuit 1.
Final Stage (Days 3–4 — Sat–Sun, March 28–29)
16 teams will compete across 10 matches over two days. The final standings of PGS 2 will be determined by cumulative points, including advantage points.
Prize Pool
The total prize pool for PGS 2 is $100,000, with additional rewards including a Chicken Bonus ($1,000 per win) and a Final Stage MVP award ($10,000).
PGS Points
PGS 2 will award the same PGS points as Series 1 (e.g., 1st place: 30 pts, 2nd place: 24 pts, etc.). The combined points from PGS 1 and PGS 2 will determine seeding for the Circuit Final (PGS 3), where double points will be applied.

Seeding will be determined based on the final standings of the PGS 1 Final Stage.
The following 8 teams eliminated from PGS 1 will compete in the Survival Stage against the bottom 8 teams from the Winners Stage, battling to remain in Circuit 1.

PGS 3 (Series Final): April 2–5 — Circuit 1 Champion Decided
In PGS 3, the top 8 teams based on the combined PGS points from PGS 1 and PGS 2 will advance directly to the Grand Final, while the remaining 16 teams will begin from the Survival Stage. With double PGS points and a $300,000 prize pool on the line, every single point earned in this week’s PGS 2 will be crucial.
