With the excitement of PNC 2025 still in the air, we’re thrilled to spotlight another major mid-season event: the Esports World Cup 2025!
Here’s everything you need to know about the EWC: PUBG Tournament.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS returns to the Esports World Cup in 2025, featuring 24 teams from around the globe competing from August 12–16.
The 24 teams will be divided into 3 groups. Over the next 3 days, each team will compete against teams from other groups. Only the top 16 teams from the group stage will advance to the Finals.
The top 16 teams will battle across 12 matches over 2 days in the S.U.P.E.R tournament format.
The team with the highest total points at the end of the Finals will be crowned EWC Champions.

The EWC: PUBG Tournament will feature 24 world-class teams.
8 teams received direct invites via the PUBG Power Ranking.
16 teams earned their spot through regional qualifiers.

The total prize pool for the EWC x PUBG Tournament is an incredible $2,000,000, distributed based on final team standings.
Whats New? - Group Stage Prize

Why is the EWC especially important this season?
Because it also awards PGS Points — the critical currency teams need to qualify for the PUBG Global Championship 2025.
