PEC: Spring & PAS5 Recap

The PEC: Spring and PAS5 championships have come to a thrilling conclusion, showcasing some of the best teams in the competitive PUBG scene. Both tournaments had their intriguing action, surprising upsets, and impressive performances as teams battled for their share of the prize pools.

PEC: Spring

1. Geekay Esports Wins

Geekay Esports won PEC: Spring while facing immense challenges. In the first few games, they weren’t in the top spots, as BB Team were leading in the leaderboard. However, by mid-tournament, Geekay Esports started winning key rmatches and maintained their position at the top.

Geekay Esports then jumped from 3rd to 1st after securing a few high-kill games and getting 200 PGC points and the $12,000 prize.

2. BB Team fights for 2nd

Throughout the tournament, BB Team remained in close competition for 1st, often within striking distance of Geekay Esports. But as Geekay Esports started to grab more points, BB Team was dropped down to the 2nd-place position. They secured $7,500 and 120 PGC points

3. Virtus.pro finishes 3rd

Virtus.pro were bouncing between the 4th and 6th spots early in the tournament. However, they jumped up to 3rd place and secured $6,000 and 90 PGC points.

4. Natus Vincere missed the podium

Natus Vincere spent most of the tournament in 4th place. However, on the last day, they had a few good performances that put them in the 3rd-place conversation. 

But as their luck ran out, they couldn’t find a good place in the final matches, and they were down to 4th place, which got them $5,000 and 65 PGC points.

5. Twisted Minds surges up the rankings

The Twisted Minds story was one of the most exciting to watch. They were picking up consistent top 5 finishes. However, by the final games, they were in 5th place and missed out on a podium finish but secured $4,000 and 60 PGC points.




PAS5

Similar to PEC: Spring, the PAS5 tournament saw the rankings shift constantly, with a few teams taking control and others trying to fight their way up. Here’s a rundown:

1. El Proyecto wins

El Proyecto started off strong from the first game, consistently placing in the top 3. As the tournament was halfway done, teams such as BESTIA and Working in Silence tried to catch up, but El Proyecto kept their lead intact. Their consistency earned them $12,000 and 200 PGC points.

2. BESTIA’s close battle

BESTIA was always just behind El Proyecto. At one point, they even moved into 1st place after some good performances, but El Proyecto jumped back to the first position. In the end, BESTIA got the 2nd place, securing $7,500 and 120 PGC points

3. Working in Silence's consistency

Working in Silence climbed the ranking by securing a good number of finishes in the second half of the tournament. They got a 3rd-place finish, earning them $6,000 and 90 PGC points

4. The battle for 4th—Team Falcons vs. Team Liquid

In the race for 4th placeTeam Falcons and Team Liquid were neck and neck. Team Falcons had a bit of an advantage after securing a strong middle section of the tournament, finishing in 4th place with $5,000Team Liquid lost the battle with Team Falcons and ended up in 5th place with $4,000
