During PGC 2024 Circuit 2 Day 2 Match 6, it was identified that 17Gaming and Tianba Esports exchanged drop spots through mutual agreement during the match.
After a thorough investigation conducted immediately following Match 6, we have reached the following conclusions:
- Date: December 13th, 2024
- Incident Match: PGC 2024 Curcuit 2 Day 2 Match 6
- Teams Involved: 17Gaming, Tianba Esports
- Penalty: 1 Warning (2-point deduction)
- The deduction will be applied to each team’s first match of PGC 2024 Circuit 3.
- Reason: Actions that could lead to match-fixing.
Relevant Regulation: - S.U.P.E.R. (Standard and Universal PUBG Esports Ruleset)
- 4.3 Collusion, Teaming, and Match-Fixing
- Sending or receiving signals or messaging to opposing competitors.
- Match-fixing is defined as offering, agreeing, conspiring, or influencing the outcome of any match by means prohibited by law or these rules.
- Determinations regarding collusion, teaming, and/or match-fixing are at the sole discretion of the administration, as is the appropriate punishment.
Details: - It was confirmed that the teams mutually agreed to exchange drop spots for strategic terrain-based advantages.
- Such agreements during a match create circumstances that could result in critical issues like "match-fixing."
