As the PUBG Nations Cup 2024 approaches, we’d like to take a moment to highlight another exciting mid-season major event: the Esports World Cup 2024!

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

PUBG: Battlegrounds will be featured in the Esports World Cup 2024, with 24 teams from around the world competing from August 21st to 25th.

GROUP STAGE

The 24 teams will be divided into 3 groups. Over the next 3 days, each team will compete against teams from other groups. Only the top 16 teams from the group stage will advance to the Finals.

• Day 1: Group A & B
• Day 2: Group B & C
• Day 3: Group C & A

FINALS

The top 16 teams will compete in a total of 12 matches over 2 days. The Finals will utilize the PUBG Esports' S.U.P.E.R tournament format. The team with the most points at the end will be crowned the grand champions of the EWC tournament.

PARTICIPATING TEAMS

A total of 24 teams from around the world will compete in the EWC tournament. The top 8 teams from the global power ranking were directly invited, while the remaining 16 slots were filled through intense regional qualifiers.

PRIZE POOL

The total prize pool for the EWC x PUBG tournament is an astonishing $2,000,000 which will be distributed based on the teams' final standings in the tournament.

PGS POINTS

Aside from the prizes, why is the EWC so important for the teams?

The EWC will award PGS points, which are crucial for teams to secure their spots at the PUBG Global Championship. Points will be awarded based on the teams' final results.
