The PUBG Global Championship is drawing near and with 4 teams around the globe claiming their region's throne, it's time for a mid-season report of the current point standings!
Let's find out each region's point distribution status.
EUROPE
Halfway through the year, Virtus.pro has crowned themselves as a champion of PCS4 and now leads the PGC point standings.
With two more events remaining, only the top 8 teams will be able to join the year's biggest global event.
To ensure regional representation, note that Europe West, Europe East, and Middle East & Africa will each have one guaranteed slot within Europe's 8 PGC places.
Plenty of points are still available for the teams to earn, so stay tuned to the ongoing ESL PUBG Masters: Summer action continuing this weekend, as well as the upcoming PCS5 Regional Playoffs!

AMERICAS
Soniqs dominating performance at PCS4 has boosted them to the 1st place spot of the current AMERICAS PGC point standings.
AMERICAS will be seeded with 6 tickets to PGC with at least 1 ticket guaranteed to both NA and LATAM regions.
Along with Europe, the Americas region will have 2 more chances to acquire crucial points for PGC 2021 placement. Stay tuned to the ongoing ESL PUBG Masters Americas: Phase 2 and upcoming PCS5! tournament!

ASIA
Petrichor Road grabbed the PCS4 crown for ASIA and leads the current standings for PUBG Global Championship 2021 placement.
With the 8 highest point teams from PCS ASIA qualifying for PGC 2021, they are within arm's reach after their great performance.
To ensure global representation, Asia region will have 4 additional tickets granted to each of the sub-regions through various events.

APAC
Buriram United Esports walked away as champions of PCS4 and became the first team to earn their spot in the PUBG Global Championship.
A total number of 6 tickets will be available for the APAC region.
- 2 tickets are granted to the winners of PCS4 and PCS5
- To ensure global representation, 2 tickets will be granted to the following 2 teams.
- Team with the most point earned from TH.
- Team with the most point earned from VN.
- Remaining 2 tickets will be granted to the rest of the team in the final point table.

We're halfway through the grand journey towards this year's PUBG Global Championship, but the competition is far from over.
