PCS6 Europe Regional Playoffs Recap
2022-04-13

With the SUPER Points rule back on the menu in 2022, teams wasted no time racking up those all-important kills and placements in an action-packed PCS6 Europe Regional Playoffs weekend!

Places at the PCS6 Europe Grand Finals were up for grabs for the top four finishers in both sub-regions, and after 18 matches in each of the Europe West and Middle East & Africa Regional Playoffs respectively, we’re excited to congratulate the following qualifiers from each event:

Europe West: SKADE, Sakura Zensen, Entropiq, and THUNDER

Middle East & Africa: HOWL, Team Rage, Road to Glory, and STARDUST

Middle East & Africa

In the MEA qualifier, HOWL and Team Rage strode ahead of the chasing pack, with only Road to Glory able to keep the pace. These three teams would have been confident of their qualification before the final match, however the race for fourth place was still very much on. A second-place finish for STARDUST in the final game of Day 3 tied the roster with XFlow Esports on 93 points, with STARDUST securing the fourth and final qualifier position due to a superior kill count.

Europe West

On the Europe West side, Sakura Zensen set the pace on Day 1 with three wins out of six matches! The squad never looked back after such a bright start and played confidently to secure their place in the top four and qualification for the PCS6 Europe Grand Final.

Meanwhile, SKADE and Entropiq – both veteran rosters brimming with top-tier talent – reminded the rest of the lobby just what it takes to compete with the pros. Don’t be surprised if either of these rosters challenges for a top spot at PCS6. And don’t overlook THUNDER! Their team name may not be as recognizable as SKADE or Entropiq, but a quick look at the roster – H1RUZEN, Myca, HIBAKO, and Double – is enough to realise that this squad knows how to frag.

These rosters will now join eight partner teams already invited to the PCS6 Europe Grand Finals.

Partner Teams: FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, NAVI, BBL Esports, ENCE, HEROIC, Futbolist, and Northern Lights

The Grand Finals action kicks off on April 29, and you’ll be able to watch live on Twitch and YouTube. Be sure to follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok for all the latest PUBG Esports content and updates!
