The first PUBG EMEA Championship - PEC: Spring - is the starting point for EMEA teams aiming to take the global stage at the end of the year. With the Open Qualifiers for Europe and MEA already under way, there's a lot to play for - PGC Points, two qualification slots for PUBG Global Series 1 (PGS1) and a share of $100,000 are there for the taking. Many teams will be returning with brand new rosters, while others remain unchanged. Here’s everything you need to know about the top contenders with announced rosters in EMEA in 2023.
Natus Vincere
Following their dominant victory (from start to finish) at PGC 2022, Natus Vincere are the defending PUBG: Battlegrounds World Champions - and an undeniable force to be reckoned with. Their roster of alya, Mellman, ubah and xmpL are unchanged - will the champs be able to hold down their title with another set of phenomenal performances in 2023?

FaZe Clan
Veterans of the scene FaZe Clan are returning to the competition following their rollercoaster comeback which netted them 9th place at PGC 2022. In a spectacular showdown, FaZe fought till the very last minutes of the Grand Survival stage to qualify for the Grand Finals.
This year the team has undergone significant roster changes: Aitzy, the longest standing FaZe player has left as did D1gg3r1. In their place, the team has picked up one of PUBG Esports’ biggest personalities - and best talents - jeemzz. FaZe has also picked up curexi on a trial basis. Although curexi hasn’t been around quite as long as Jeemzz has, he undoubtedly makes up for it with his phenomenal past tournament placings.
Twisted Minds
Twisted Minds returns for 2023 with the same superstar squad of BatulinS, Lu, spyrro and Perfect1ks. In the last few years, they have garnered a reputation for being Europe’s most calculated and consistently high-placing team.
Twisted Minds have had back to back podium finishes in 2022 and we’re excited to see what 2023 brings for this roster.

The team will be going into 2023 with their roster unchanged - ivas, Lukarux, naylup and Qbe will be working together once more to take their place on the global stage.
