The most prestige stage of the year, the PUBG Global Championship 2026 (PGC 2026), runs from December 1 (Tue) to December 13 (Sun) in İstanbul, Türkiye.
Thirty-two teams from around the world will compete across nine match days for a $1,500,000+ prize pool and the title of PUBG Esports global champion. Fan-driven crowdfunding will add to the prize pool, with additional rewards going to the top-performing teams.

Location: İstanbul, Türkiye
Dates: December 1 (Tue) – December 13 (Sun), 2026
Teams: 32
Prize Pool: $1,500,000 (+ crowdfunding)
For PGC 2026, each team's starting stage is determined by their results across PGS and regional leagues throughout the season. Unlike previous seasons where all teams began from a shared Group Stage, top-seeded teams will skip earlier stages and enter the tournament at a later point.

There are three entry paths to PGC 2026:
Grand Finals Direct Invite — 8 teams
Survival Stage Day 1 Direct — 8 teams
Qualifying Stage Entry — 16 teams
This tiered structure rewards teams that performed well throughout the season with a stronger starting position at PGC, and raises the stakes for every match across the regional leagues and PGS leading up to the global stage.
Regional Seed Allocation
Global Seeds (PGS) — 8 slots
Americas (PAS) — 4 slots
China (PCL) — 4 slots
EMEA (PEC) — 4 slots
Korea (PWS) — 3 slots
APAC (PMS) — 2 slots
Thailand (PTS) — 3 slots
Vietnam (PVS) — 3 slots
Wildcard — 1 slot
The Wildcard slot will go to a team representing Türkiye, the host region for PGC 2026.
The tournament consists of three phases: Qualifying Stage, Survival Stage, and Grand Finals.

Qualifying Stage — December 1 (Tue)
The 16 Qualifying Stage seeds compete on the opening day.
The top 8 advance to Survival Stage Day 1, while the remaining 8 move to Survival Stage Day 2.
Survival Stage — December 2 (Wed) – December 6 (Sun)
The Survival Stage runs across five days, with 16 teams competing each day.
From Day 1 through Day 4, the team with the highest combined match score on each day secures a direct ticket to the Grand Finals — one per day, four teams in total.
On the final day, the top 16 teams by cumulative points across Days 1 through 4 compete for the last four Grand Finals spots.
Grand Finals — December 11 (Fri) – December 13 (Sun)
The Grand Finals span three days with a total of 15 matches (five per day). The final standings and the year's global champion will be decided here.
The 16 teams competing at the Grand Finals reach the stage through three paths.
Grand Finals Direct Invite — 8 teams
Six Regional League 1st place teams + PGS 1st place + Host Country Wildcard
Survival Stage Daily Match Winners — 4 teams
One match winner from each of Survival Stage Day 1 through Day 4
Survival Stage Cumulative Top 4 — 4 teams
Top 4 by total points across the entire Survival Stage
The total PGC 2026 prize pool is $1,500,000+, made up of the Ranking Prize (based on final standings) and the Special Prize (awarded for key performances during the Grand Finals).

Ranking Prize — $1,310,000 total
The Ranking Prize is distributed to all participating teams based on Grand Finals qualification and final standings. Minimum guaranteed payouts for teams that do not reach the Grand Finals are integrated into the same Ranking Prize structure, creating a single, unified payout system.
Special Prize — $190,000 total
Additional prizes are awarded for key performances during the Grand Finals.
Fan-driven crowdfunding returns for PGC 2026. This season brings one notable change: crowdfunding contributions will be distributed exclusively to the Grand Finals Top 8 teams, allocated by final standing (30% to 4%).
The more fans take part, the larger the final prize pool grows, and the greater the rewards for top-performing clubs. Details on how to participate will follow through official channels.
Closing
With this season's PGS and regional league results directly shaping each team's starting point at PGC 2026, every remaining match carries added weight. Stay tuned for the 32 teams set to compete for the title this December in İstanbul.
