The format for the Finals remains a familiar one. Sixteen teams will battle it out across three days, playing a total of 15 matches. By the end of Sunday, the team with the highest overall points will be crowned the Finals 2 Champion.
These Finals are a major proving ground for teams looking to make it onto the global stage. Most importantly, this is where the majority of PGC Points are up for grabs, the key factor in qualifying for the PUBG Global Championship, the pinnacle event in PUBG Esports. While some points were earned during the Playoffs, the Finals carry much greater weight, making them the decisive stage in the qualification race.
There’s even more on the line, too. The two teams with the highest total PGC Points from PEC: Spring will earn direct qualification to the Esports World Cup in Riyadh later this year, along with entry into all PUBG Global Series events in the second half of the season, including PGS Circuits 3 and 4.
And to top it all off, each Finals weekend features a $30,000 prize pool, giving every team even more incentive to perform when it matters most.
